Leather Jackets Merchandiser [Pakistan]


 

We are looking for Leather Jacket Merchandiser, who's role will involve managing the overall merchandising activities related to leather jackets. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various merchandising strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability. Your primary focus will be on product development, assortment planning, inventory management, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities:

Product Development:

  • Collaborate with design teams to develop new leather jacket styles that align with market trends and customer preferences.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product innovation.
  • Ensure the timely development and delivery of high-quality leather jackets, meeting quality standards and cost requirements.

Assortment Planning:

  • Analyze market demand, customer feedback, and sales data to develop an effective assortment plan for leather jackets.
  • Determine the range of styles, colors, sizes, and price points to offer, based on target customer segments and market trends.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for sourcing leather jackets.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and product lifecycles to optimize stock replenishment and minimize excess inventory.
  • Forecast demand for leather jackets, taking into account seasonal variations, promotional activities, and market conditions.
  • Implement inventory control measures, such as implementing effective stock rotation and markdown strategies.

Vendor Coordination:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other external partners involved in the leather jacket supply chain.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies and maintain profitability.

Sales Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to drive leather jacket sales.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of leather jacket trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using merchandising software and tools.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for fashion aesthetics.
